I have seen the big improvement in my daughter’s drawing, from the time she started to draw a simple image until she learned how to draw a portrait (see her latest drawing).
Some of my daughter’s online friends from Deviantart have extended their get well soon message to her when they learned that she was hospitalized last week. My daughter was happy to read the messages from other artists as well. Some well-wishers are as young as my daughter, some are already professional perhaps holding one of the buyer jobs and take drawing as a hobby.
My daughter is excited to post a new drawing to her DA gallery. Before she got sick she was already planning to draw Beyonce Knowles. Now that she is well she can start her new drawing again.
I feel glad that my mom’s friends, my older cousins in Manila and Gensan, and my friends in Facebook like my drawings. I feel so inspired whenever people say good things about my work. Just this morning, my classmate Justine, requested me to draw the image of Robert Pattinson. I can’t say no to my friend, but I told her that I’ll try. Would you like to see it too? 🙂
