Official start of summer vacation

No more waking up early beginning next week. Yay! The kids had their last day of school yesterday, so today marks the official end of school year for my kids and the first day of the most anticipated summer vacation. 🙂

But before we really set our mind on exciting summer activities, we’re still expecting some good news from the school’s admin office on Monday to inform us if one of the kids qualifies to receive an award or certificate of appreciation for their performance this school year.

I’m keeping my fingers crossed even if I knew my daughter did her best to get a good grade this year despite being absent for several days due to sickness.  Well, we’ll just have to wait and see.  🙂

No strenuous physical activity for two weeks

It’s back to school for the kids this morning. They are still recovering from dengue and being refrained from engaging in strenuous activities at school. They should not participate in sports and activities required by their physical education subject. My daughter is supposed to perform a dance number with a group for her values education class wherein performers are required to wear breeches pants. My daughter declined the part although inside her she wants to join her classmates. Even if she’s not performing with her group she remains happy for them. The group will still use the music that she uploaded for the presentation.
