Kids and Grooming

First impressions last. Most, if not all, people judge us by the way we look. That’s one of life’s harsh realities we should teach our children. Nobody is going to take you seriously if you look disheveled and unkempt. When your kid’s hair is beginning to look like a braided metal hose, then you know it’s time for a lesson in grooming.

If your kid isn’t that much of a fan of taking baths, you can put the old rubber ducky to good use here. It’s all about making bath time fun. Be creative. You can even make up a bath song for you and your kid to sing together while sudsing up.

Before leaving the house, make your kid get used to looking himself up in the mirror, to make sure there aren’t any stray hairs or smudges on his face. You can get him a comb or brush in his favorite cartoon character, to make him enjoy fixing his hair.

Teaching our kids good grooming habits is not that difficult. All it needs is a dash of creativity… and loads of discipline.
