Couch potatoes

My kids spend a great deal of time in front of the computer and television this summer. That’s the downside of having two computers and two television sets at home. When one kid doesn’t want to watch a certain television program, he or she would turn on the other tv set, or play computer game to while away the time.

I’m afraid these kids will grow big heavy lack of physical activity. As a worried mom, I don’t want them to reach the point where they have to use diet pills to shed excess fat because of inactivity. They should spend one hour of physical activity every day.

The future designer

My  son looks up to his big sister (even if they often bicker for the smallest and insignificant reasons). He is into drawing or designing, too. He uses Photoshop to make his dress designs for virtual dolls. I wouldn’t be surprised if one day he’ll come up with a long line of designs for jewelry collections, including artcarved rings.

When I heard of young Filipino designers who excel or make a name for themselves overseas, I couldn’t help but be proud and imagine that someday, my son will be successful like them.

Playful Oreo

Here are some of our favorite shots of Oreo. The spoiled puppy plays with anything that he can tug and toss. You’ll see those “poor” and “badly beaten” toys in my next post. 😀 Notice his last picture, I think he’s chewing on something he’s not allowed to chew. Oh, poor thing.
